This scene made me fall in love with this movie.

My life has always felt like…an unanswered question.
A string of days and nights, waiting for something to happen, but…
I didn’t know what.
Rita, we’re connected. Wherever I am, I feel you…and the kids… with me.
You’re what makes me real. I want us to…always go out for banana splits.
And replant the lemon tree that keeps dying. And I never, ever want to miss a pizza night.
And that’s how I know I want to marry you.
Because something as simple as pizza night is the highlight of my week.
But not without the kids. Cody, Astor, you guys are my family.
I’m gonna hang on to you for dear life. Please, say yes.Rita: Yes, we will marry you!
One of the best (and most iconic) scenes of Dexter.

You Always Hurt the One You Love
(covered by Ryan Gosling in Blue Valentine)
This is one of the best scenes in the movie. (It can stand alone which is why I posted it.) Dean and Cindy are falling in love in this scene, but the words of the song foreshadow what is to come in their (and most) relationships. I think the words are truthful—you always hurt the one you love. It’s my belief that the hardest part in finding a partner is finding someone who is worth the painful moments. Very few people find that person.
